CHELSEA, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999--
HP Hood Inc. and The Organic Cow of Vermont (R), LLC, the Northeast's leading marketer of organic milk, have entered into an agreement with Horizon Organic Dairy (TM), a national producer of branded organic milk, to sell The Organic Cow of Vermont brand.
Under this agreement, HP Hood will become the exclusive master distributor of ultra-pasteurized (UHT) organic milk products along the East Coast; Hood will also offer both The Organic Cow and Horizon Organic Dairy products in the Northeast. This arrangement makes HP Hood the largest distributor of Horizon Organic Dairy products nationwide.
