DETROIT, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, April 29, at 3 p.m., 25 greyhound dogs, rescued from a greyhound race track in Orlando, Florida will arrive in Detroit (arriving at the parking lot of the Star John R Theatre in Troy at 14 Mile and John R), destined for new homes in Michigan. Their rescuers are Russ and Joanne Jones, a St. Louis, Michigan couple, who use their "Have a Heart Greyhound Rescue Hauler" to transport abused greyhounds across the country, to a second chance at life -- for the Michigan Chapter of Retired Greyhounds as Pets (REGAP).
