NAPERVILLE, Ill., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Attorneys for the Illinois Hospital & HealthSystems Association (IHHA) yesterday filed suit in Cook County Circuit Court against the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board to block an illegally promulgated rule that unlawfully expands the Board's authority.
"We are asking the court to stop the Board from enforcing a new 'emergency rule' that singles out hospitals for additional regulation when there is no emergency, or any other rational basis, to justify it," said Kenneth C.
