Or you could take it to the Vacuum Cleaner Hospital in Chapel Hill for the vacuum cleaner equivalent of a physical. The Vacuum Cleaner Hospital, owned by Tom Proctor, is an independent vacuum cleaner store.
The store also sells a wide assortment of both upright and canister vacuums, including products from Eureka, Hoover, Miele, Oreck and others. Vacuums start at about $79 and go up to about $1,000.
