Apr. 27 -- The Colorado Department of Corrections has received an action plan that addresses its fact-finding report on the March 5 disturbance at the Crowley County Correctional Facility.
The action plan from Correctional Services Corp. addresses 29 actions recommended in the fact-finding report, and covers issues such as detection, isolation and containment of disturbances, training of staff to respond to disturbances, physical plant modification and enhancement of security devices.
Completion of the 29 action items is ongoing.
