NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 1999--
A group of veteran distribution and sales executives that includes Gilbert Perlman, President of Random House, Inc.'s Client Distribution Services division, announced they are forming a national book distribution company named Client Distribution Services, Inc. (CDS).
Mr. Perlman will be the President of the new enterprise. Other principals of CDS will include Robert Anderson III, Chairman of the Board and former Executive Vice President of Owens and Minor, Inc., a medical distribution company.
