Applications presented included high quality synthetic speech prototypes for email reading and speaking numbers and dollar amounts. The presentation demonstrated the Fonix female voice reading preprocessed email messages, delivering a company advertisement or testimonial, and serving as a virtual female attendant in an integrated messaging system.
