New Human-Sounding Fonix Text-to-Speech Software

SALT LAKE CITY, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Fonix Corporation (Nasdaq: FONX), publicly demonstrated its new female voice synthetic speech at the Computer Telephony Expo recently held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Applications presented included high quality synthetic speech prototypes for email reading and speaking numbers and dollar amounts. The presentation demonstrated the Fonix female voice reading preprocessed email messages, delivering a company advertisement or testimonial, and serving as a virtual female attendant in an integrated messaging system.
