Dual Processing Expertise Adds Value to Strategic Partnership
OMAHA, Neb., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- First Data Corporation (NYSE: FDC) today announced it has closed on an agreement to purchase BANK ONE Transaction Processing Services from BANK ONE CORPORATION (NYSE: ONE). Transaction Processing Services (TPS) is the platform BANK ONE uses to process debit cards and checks for cash management accounts, credit cards for community banks and group service providers, and the majority of BANK ONE's Visa Check Cards. Financial terms are not being disclosed. Approximately 350 BANK ONE employees will become First Data employees.
