SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 1999--

Wells Fargo & Company has signed an agreement to reacquire remaining rights to its trademark, service mark and tradename held by Borg-Warner Security Corporation. Borg-Warner has used the Wells Fargo name in three of its businesses. It has agreed to end a license contract it has held with Wells Fargo since 1979, and stop using the name by March 31, 2001.
