Kellogg Co., Battle Creek Mich., elected Carlos Gutierrez to a three-year term to its board and named him chief executive officer. Gutierrez, who began working for Kellogg in Mexico in 1975, replaces Arnold Langbo, whose exit was precipitated by a year of disappointing earnings and stock performance. Langbo will remain as chairman until next year. Also elected to similar terms were: Claudio Gonzalez, William Richardson and John Zabriskie. In other news, Donald Rumsfeld retired from Kellogg's board after 14 years.
