The Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Bruce Scott, has congratulated Major General 'Digger' James on his appointment as the new Chair of the Council of the Australian War Memorial.
Major General James has been elected to chair the Council and takes over from General Peter Gration, who is retiring after five years as Chairman.
