NEW YORK, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Fitch IBCA, the international rating agency, expects significant growth in the securitization of Japanese residential mortgage-backed loans.
In a special report released today, the rating agency detailed the findings of its study of the Japanese residential mortgage market. Among the factors driving the likely increase in securitization is the strong interest in the market amongst potential issuers such as the regional and city banks and the government through the Government Housing Loan Corporation (GHLC).
