In recognition of his contributions and commitment to New Jersey's rapidly growing biotechnology industry, Commerce Secretary Gualberto "Gil" Medina has been named "Outstanding State Government Executive of the Year" by the Washington, DC-based Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO).
Mr. Medina, who is Chief Executive Officer & Secretary of the New Jersey Commerce & Economic Growth Commission, the state's lead economic development agency, will be presented with this year's prestigious award on May 17th at BIO's "State Biotechnology Policy Conference" in Seattle, Washington.
