MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, Minn., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The fifth running of the Team Transit Challenge, a duel for rush-hour dominance, will feature two foes battling the evils of congestion.
On the morning of Tuesday, May 18, a 13-ton Metro Transit bus will use its commuting secret weapons against the Caped Crusader's car in a race from Maplewood to downtown Minneapolis.
The race begins at the Park & Ride lot at Highway 61 and County Road C in Maplewood at 7:20 a.m. While the Caped Crusader uses his Batphone to call for traffic updates from the ramp-meter light, the Metro Transit bus will gain access to Highway 36 with a special bus-only gate arm then ...
