HERNDON, Va., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Logicon Inc., a Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) company has been awarded a five-year, $43 million contract to enhance the U.S. Navy's undersea warfare technologies.
The award is for the Undersea Weapon Systems program and was made by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) headquartered in Newport, R.I. NUWC is the Navy's research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems and undersea warfare weapon systems.
