Advocacy Group Calls for $75 Million Initiative

To Increase Women's Health Research

WASHINGTON, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Education and scientific leaders in women's health, along with legislative supporters, met today to call for an increase of $75 million in federal funding of women's health research and to announce the formation of the Women's Health Research Coalition. The Coalition is an advocacy network comprised of leaders from renowned academic, health, medical and scientific institutions united to support increased funding for women's health research.
