WOODLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1999--
Distribution North America (DNA), a division of Valley Media, Inc. (Nasdaq:VMIX), announced today a new North American sales and distribution deal with Castle Music, the world's largest independent owner of audio copyright.
Castle Music owns the rights to 60,000 audio titles and controls an additional 30,000 titles through license agreements. The deal with DNA, which will mark the first time since 1997 that Castle's catalog will be fully represented in the United States, follows a highly successful arrangement between DNA and Castle to distribute Castle's Iron Maiden repertoire in the U.S., which has sold ...
