May 18 -- QUESTION: My new flooring, with a 15-year warranty against water damage, is severely warped on about 50 square feet. The manufacturer reported the warping was caused by excessive moisture, but the product was not defective.
Our store manager told us the manufacturer said it would replace the flooring if we obtained a sworn statement from a plumber that we don't have a water problem. We did this, and now the manager says the manufacturer won't replace the flooring.
This product is highly advertised for use in high-spill areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
