HOUSTON, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennzoil-Quaker State Company (NYSE: PZL) today announced that it has signed on as the American Heart Association Houston Heart Walk's "Presenting Sponsor" for the next three years. James L. Pate, the company's chairman and chief executive officer, will serve as the American Heart Walk Chair for the 1999, 2000, and 2001 walks.
