A bid for the concession to operate the Dominican Republic's four airports in return for investing US$309 million in improving the infrastructure at the airports has been won by a four-nation consortium called Aerodom, it was reported April 27:
The bid from Aeropuerto Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) has been sent to the Dominican Republic Congress for formal approval, according to Dominican Republic President Leonel Fernandez, who presided over the formal selection process;
