Sheffield and District Branch held its Annual Business Dinner on 4 February at the only livery hall in South Yorkshire, The Cutlers Hall in Sheffield. The guest speaker was Bob Kerslake the Chief Executive Officer of Sheffield City Council. The Institute was represented by Branch President Lynn Stephenson and the Senior Vice President of the Institute, David Melvill. About a hundred members and guests heard Bob Kerslake talk about `The Economic Challenge for South Yorkshire'.
