NEW YORK -- When it comes to furs, there are always plenty of rich neutrals. But look on the bright side. As fur collections open this week, there are lots of riding-jacket shapes or crisp blazers in fiery fabrics that reverse to fur. Dramatic coats or little shaped jackets in shearling show up in neon and jewel tones, and even traditional mink peacoats are getting dyed to dazzle.
From the Fur Front: Fur Fashion Week is moving into its fifth season this year with fewer headliners, but with its focus on improving the image of the industry still intact.
