(FORT WORTH) Fort Worth's Tandy Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Amerilink Corporation in an all-stock transaction worth about $75 million. The Columbus, Ohio-based Amerilink designs, constructs, installs and maintains cabling systems for the transmission of video, voice and data, primarily for home use. Tandy/RadioShack Chairman Len Roberts says the acquisition is another significant step in the company's progression toward becoming the nation's Home Connectivity Store.
