(FORT WORTH) Fort Worth's Tandy Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Amerilink Corporation in an all-stock transaction worth about $75 million. The Columbus, Ohio-based Amerilink designs, constructs, installs and maintains cabling systems for the transmission of video, voice and data, primarily for home use. Tandy/RadioShack Chairman Len Roberts says the acquisition is another significant step in the company's progression toward becoming the nation's Home Connectivity Store.
Tandy will acquire all of Amerilink's common stock at an exchange ratio designed to reflect $15.60 per share of Amerilink's stock in a tax-free exchange for ...
