VISALIA, Calif., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Edison International (NYSE: EIX) has awarded a $15,000 "Arts for the Community" grant to the Tulare County Symphony Association to support its performances and educational programs for local school-age children.
"Because it is the sole organization in Tulare County dedicated to presenting live symphonic music, the Tulare County Symphony is a great cultural asset to the community," said Mike Chrisman, region public affairs manager for Southern California Edison. "We are proud to support its productions, which provide many Central Valley residents with their only opportunity to see and hear a symphony orchestra."
