Ashley Dubuque wears a dainty gold band decorated with sparkling diamond chips forming a cross on her wedding ring finger.
She vows to abstain from sex until she gets married.
``The ring stands for sexual purity and my marriage to God,'' said Dubuque, 18, of Panama City, Fla. ``It says `I will not cheat on God.' When I get married, I will give the ring and myself to my husband as a gift.''
Dubuque's parents presented the ring to her at a True Love Waits Commitment Ceremony two years ago.
Standing before her parents, peers and church congregation, Dubuque made this pledge:
