CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 1999--

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Northeastern Ohio Inc. (CCCS) is celebrating 35 years of service to the community this month.

The non-profit service began in 1964 and used the "60's" and "Back to the future" as the theme for the service's recent annual meeting.

CCCS began its operation in response to rising bankruptcies more than three decades ago. The agency continues to offer counseling and repayment plans as its main service, however, it has grown dramatically both in size and services offered over the years. One main indicator CCCS uses is client dollars returned to creditors.
