MUDANYA, Turkey, June 1 (UPI)
Kurdish rebel leader Abdullah Ocalan told a Turkish Court that Swedish Premier Olaf Palme may have been murdered by a splinter group of his organization.
Ocalan was questioned on the activities of his Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) on the second day of his trial for treason at a special State Security Court set up on the Imrali prison island.
The captured rebel leader, who Monday called for a cease-fire in the PKK's 15-year guerrilla war for an independent homeland, explained in detail the degree of PKK support received from countries like Greece, Syria, Iran, Libya and Cyprus, Turkish state television said.
