Acacia Research Corp. (Nasdaq/NM:ACRI) announced that it has named Tony Leung, a 15-year veteran of Apple Computer, as Vice President, Technology.

Leung held a variety of software manager positions at Apple Computer and was responsible for developing and incorporating new technologies into the Macintosh platform.
