Jun. 3 -- The gun that was used to kill Nicole Leps in Camden County five years ago was originally sold in Kentucky. The gun that went off accidentally and killed 13-year-old Amanda Horn was originally sold in Delaware.
Yesterday Camden County joined the growing list of cities and counties nationwide that are suing the firearms industry, claiming it is partly responsible for the deaths of people like Nicole and Amanda. Gun manufacturers, the lawsuit contends, have over-produced "egregiously unsafe" weapons they know are destined for the black market.
