CLEVELAND, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- At a press conference today, Cleveland Orchestra Board President Richard J. Bogomolny announced that Franz Welser- Most will succeed Christoph von Dohnanyi as the Orchestra's seventh Music Director in September of 2002. The Board of Trustees of the Musical Arts Association, parent organization of The Cleveland Orchestra, unanimously endorsed the selection in a meeting held yesterday.
