Jun. 8 -- The Orlando Sentinel won four awards -- more than any other newspaper, including the top writing award and a top-section award -- in the 49th annual National Association of Real Estate Editors Real Estate Journalism Competition, announced Saturday at the association's annual conference in Chicago.
Real estate reporter Mary Shanklin won first place in the "Best Collection of Work -- All Media, All Categories" for three articles in the series "A Night of Fury: The Danger Ahead," one of which was co-written with reporter Roger Roy.
Homes Editor Terri Winefordner won first place for "Best Home Section, ...
