KEMET Electronics Corporation and NEC Corporation of Japan are pleased to announce that they have signed a Cooperative Promotional Agreement to jointly promote identical high-performance conductive polymer tantalum capacitors under their respective product names: KO Caps (KEMET) and NeoCapacitors (NEC). This agreement supplements the Technical License Agreement signed in 1998, which relates to the manufacture of these capacitors.

KEMET is currently manufacturing the KO Cap at its Simpsonville, SC, plant. The Company expects to begin shipping KO Caps at the rate of 1 million parts per month in June, ...
