SangStat, The Transplant Company(R), (Nasdaq:SANG) announced today that SangCya(TM) (Cyclosporine Oral Solution, USP (MODIFIED)) has received approval for inclusion on the Illinois state formulary from the Illinois Technical Advisory Council (TAC). In an open debate SangStat defeated Novartis' attempts to prevent the automatic substitution of SangCya oral solution for Neoral oral solution in Illinois.
