Jun. 10 -- A four-lane bridge and a northbound Interstate 35W frontage road could be built by March 2001 to help ease traffic snarls at Texas Motor Speedway if property owners in the area can be persuaded to donate land for the project, speedway and area officials say.
The $6.5 million proposal calls for motorists to take the frontage road from I-35W, turn left over the bridge and drive into the speedway from the planned Speedway Boulevard. There also would be access from Texas 114.
