LE BOURGET, France, PARIS AIR SHOW, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has selected Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) of India to produce and install four air traffic control (ATC) systems to support en route operations on critical air routes in India. Contract terms were not disclosed.
The systems will be installed in Nagpur, Varnasi, Behrampur and Mangalore, India. Hardware deliveries are expected to begin in 1999, with all four systems scheduled to be operational before the end of 2000.
