Paris -- Development activities for Raytheon Aircraft's Hawker Horizon super mid-size jet are progressing.

All three fuselage sections for the first Horizon have been constructed and are currently undergoing routine production inspection. In addition, a second forward fuselage section has been constructed for bird-strike testing. Earlier this year, the first wing arrived in Wichita from Fuji Heavy Industries of Utsunomiya, Japan. The joining of the first Horizon wing halves will occur this summer.
