Jun. 17 -- A good portion of Johnson County workers cross the line when heading for work -- the county line, that is.
According to two new studies, nearly 94,000 Johnson County residents, or 37 percent of the labor force, are commuting to jobs outside the county.
And while Johnson County is attracting many commuters, it has a net loss of about 32,000 resident commuters, a higher outflow than any other county in Kansas.
