SAN DIEGO, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Vons and Milk-Bone helped improve a little girl's life today by joining forces and presenting Alison Stewart, a four-year-old girl from Poway, a Canine Assistants service dog. Alison, joined by family, friends, Vons employees, and local dignitaries, received her dog at a local Vons store in San Diego.
The gift of Alison's Canine Assistants service dog marks the culmination of a month-long partnership between Vons and Milk-Bone. In this partnership, 25 cents of every Milk-Bone item purchased at Vons during the month of May went directly toward sponsoring the training and placement of a Canine Assistants service dog. The ...
