Article: Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Hails Passage of Dairy Compact Bill.

CAMP HILL, Pa., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau today hailed the passage of legislation in the General Assembly authorizing Pennsylvania to become part of the Northeast Interstate Dairy Compact.

The dairy compact legislation, S.B. 365, was unanimously approved by the state Senate on June 16 and passed the House later the same day, before the General Assembly adjourned for the summer. Governor Ridge has publicly stated his support for the legislation.
