Several major commercial construction projects are under way this month in the county, including two hotels, a car dealership, an office building, a day-care center and a synagogue, developers and builders report.
Roel Construction Co. of San Diego officials say they've reached the 33 percent complete mark on the Harbor Lights Resort at 911 Fifth Ave. in the Gaslamp District in Downtown. The company has also started site work on three new buildings for Hoehn Motors' new Mercedes Benz dealership at 5475 Car Country Drive in Carlsbad.
