Microsoft is reportedly in talks aimed at buying as much as 30 percent of Cable & Wireless's cable television unit. The Wall Street Journal reports Microsoft's chief financial officer spoke yesterday with the chief executive officer of the British company. The newspaper says analysts estimate the deal could cost Microsoft more than $4 billion.
