The Asian market for over-the-counter health care products is dominated by vitamins and dietary supplements, which account for 56.4% of this market largely because of their significance in Japan, says a new study from Euromonitor.

The report says vitamins and dietary supplements are popular throughout the region, especially in Japan. This has made the sector the most valuable in the regional OTC health care market, and the leading companies in this sector hold the major share of the total OTC market.
