Last week I dreamt that a tornado demolished my house--wall by wall. I remember huddling underneath a small alcove when the last wall and piece of ceiling fell in a heavy, sickening crash.
That night, Jay and I had been sitting in bed catching up, me mostly talking and Jay listening. I was describing feeling out of sorts, disconnected.
