Jun. 21 -- Three weeks into June and the Republicans have yet to decide whether their national primary convention will be held at the Convention Center or the First Union Center in 2000.

GOP spokesman Tim Fitzpatrick promises a decision by the end of the month. A decision had been expected by June 1.

One convention -- a trade show for people who exhibit in trade shows -- could not wait for the Republicans to decide. "I'm a little bit frustrated with the Republican National Committee," said Michael Bandy, president of the Trade Show Exhibitors Association. "I might have to vote Democratic in the next election." ...
