(PHILADELPHIA) A Port Richmond bank says it's willing to offer those Wissinoming residents who have lost their homes affordable mortgages. An official at the Washington Savings Bank says the residents are eligible for 30-year loans at 6 percent interest with no fees... as long as they decide to buy new homes within the city. The 20 Wissinoming homes on Hegerman, Devereaux and Van Dyke streets have been condemned by the city because they are sinking, and will be demolished. The city has said it will compensate residents for the loss of their homes.
