Jun. 24 -- MANUGISTICS BACK IN THE BLACK: Manugistics Group Inc., a Rockville software company, reported net income of $389,000 (1 cent per diluted share) for its first quarter ended May 31 compared with a net loss of $8.53 million (33 cents) for the first quarter of 1998.
Revenues decreased 5 percent to $39.1 million from $41.1 million a year ago.
ALLSTATE FINANCIAL WARNS OF LOSS: Allstate Financial Corp., an Arlington provider of services to the insurance industry, said it expects to report a loss of $3.10 to $3.90 per share for the quarter ending June 30.
