ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Although the sunglasses category as a whole has not been growing, Capo Inc. has enjoyed eight straight years of double-digit sales gains. Vice president of marketing Jack Hewitt attributes the supplier's growth in the 1990s to offering quality products at reasonable prices and having "the best service organization in the industry."
Licensing agreements with major sports and entertainment organizations also have been important to the success of Capo's sunglasses.
