DECATUR, Ga., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AHI) announced today that Axis Group, a wholly owned subsidiary, has been awarded a contract to provide its Kar-Tainer(R) exterior loading cassette system for containerized international shipment of BMW 3 Series automobiles.
Axis, in association with Mediterranean Shipping Company, has been awarded the contract to ship BMW 3 series vehicles manufactured in South Africa to various right-hand drive countries including the United Kingdom.
