HERNDON, Va. June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- An industry team led by Logicon Inc., a Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) company, has been awarded a 30-month, $53 million contract, plus priced options totaling more than $14 million, to provide the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) for the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
The award was made by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). The program is a collaborative development effort between the Navy, Air Force and SOCOM.
JMPS represents the next generation in aviation mission planning systems. It is a Windows-based system and the successor to current Unix-based systems such as ...
