Wild budgies have a really tough life. They live in Australia's "Outback"--that's what people call the central part of the country, where it hardly ever rains. But these birds have what it takes to survive in dry places.
WHAT'S FOR LUNCH? Wild budgies eat mostly seeds--just as pet budgies do. And they get something you might never suspect from the seeds--water. If the weather is really dry, they can even go for a month without a drink, because they get enough water from their food.
